WHAT’S GONNA HAPPEN IN GRAND BAHAMA
The monkey has “put question to he ma” in Grand Bahama. The story is that the Government has now formally served notice on the Grand Bahama Port Authority to set a date for arbitration in their dispute over the monies owed to the government for services rendered to the city of Freeport. So far the Port and its lawyers have reportedly been dilatory and dissembling in trying to fix a date. The notice told them that they could run but they cannot hide behind legalisms. The day of reckoning is coming and a date must be set by mid-April or else.
