WHAT IS THE FNM GOING TO DO UNDER PINTARD?
29 November 2021 Michael Pintard becomes the Leader of the Opposition
Hubert Minnis, the former Prime Minister, is pissed. He is sulking say his friends. He does not accept in any way shape or form that he is responsible for the election debacle that took place on 16 September 2021. He has reluctantly accepted that he is out but he does not accept that he is out for good, and is trying to plot a way forward to return. This poses a great problem for Michael Pintard who is trying as the new FNM leader and Leader of the Opposition to map a middle of the road strategy, that is, one that lessens the mean and freaky and cruel decisions made by the Minnis regime of which he was a part, and seeks to say that this is a friendlier FNM. The problem he has is that Hubert Minnis is not going quietly into the good night and at every chance he pops up in the House of Assembly to have his say and that say unfortunately is not what Michael Pintard, the new leader wants to hear. Problem is they have no way to control him.
