TRUMP YET AGAIN EMBARRASSES… A NEW LOW

It appears that Donald Trump, the President of the United States, has his way in that country and the most recent example is that of the appointment with the advice and consent of a craven Senate of a Judge to the Supreme Court who is alleged to be a rapist.  This is the second time that the issue of sexual harassment has come to the fore with regard to the appointment of a Judge to the high court of the United States. In 1991, it was the turn of Clarence Thomas and a woman alleged that he was a serial harasser and the white men who ran the Senate rejected the allegation and confirmed him any way. The same with this fellow. So despite the You Too Movement where women supposedly have found their voices and have forced the dismissal of  big bosses, the result is the same.  Old white men have said it ain’t gonna go that way and you can in the words of the U S President “ grab them by the pussy” and that’s okay.  This is a new low.  It is a sad result.
