NEW YORK — Four Bahamian students at SUNY Maritime College in the Bronx, New York, returned from their Summer SeaTerm on Monday, August 10, 2015. Each year over the four-year period at the college, students would go to sea for a period of 45 days. In the final (senior) year they would go to sea for 90 days. During their recent trip the students travelled to Ireland, Croatia and several cities in Spain. This was the first year at sea for three of the Bahamian students. The other student, D’Juan Seymour, is presently a senior. They all indicated that it was a tremendous experience for them, and they were certainly grateful for the opportunity.
