Bahamas Prepares to Resume Talks on Bahamas/U.S. Maritime Boundaries
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Thursday morning hosted an important internal workshop in preparation for the resumption of long standing talks on the delimitation of maritime boundaries with the United States of America.
Minister of Foreign Affairs, The Hon. Darren Henfield, in opening remarks, said: “The Government of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas has prioritized as a major foreign policy objective, the settlement of Maritime Borders.”
Taking part in the workshop are representatives of the various government departments and agencies engaged in the process.
