THE NASSAU GUARDIAN’S CAMPAIGN AGAINST THE PLP

If there was any doubt that the FNM’s campaign was in full flight, you just had to read last week’s newspapers.  The journalistic vixen from hell Candia Dames was at it every day.  She published a statement that the PLP robbed the fund for the disabled to pay for a party memorial for the late Obie Wilchombe.  Never mind the fact that there was no disability to the disabled community as a result of it.  Let not the facts interfere with a good story.  Then she pounced the next day on statements by the Office of Prime Minister which transparently explained what the use of monies for travel were all about.  That became a story about the use of government money for PLP travel.  The fact that it was not true didn’t seem to bother them at all. PLP be careful. These people are not your friends.  Matters not how you have drinks with them or take them out to party and eat food, they are not your friends. They mean to take us out.
