SUPERSTITION STILL REIGNS IN THE UNITED STATES
The Chicago Cubs of the United States Major league baseball won the improperly named World Series in baseball in which only American teams participate on Wednesday 2nd November. They say this is the first time since 1908. They described it as a curse on the Cubs having been broken. It is interesting to us that the United States as technologically advanced as it is still is dominated by superstitious nonsense. There was no curse. The team just couldn’t get the talent and the right combination to win. Not luck, not superstitions, not anything else but talent and management hung together properly. In between there are a lot of variables but none of them had to do with a curse. What a whole lot of crap. Anyway, the city of Chicago was thrilled to bits.
