STOP GRABBING DEFEAT FROM THE JAWS OF VICTORY
On Friday 29 October 2021, the Chairman of the PLP Fred Mitchell issued a voice note in which he urged PLPs to stop giving public advice about party matters to the Prime Minister and seek to give private advice. This comes in the middle of a public back and forth in the party about appointments to boards. This is six weeks into an administration and the propensity that people have to picnic on one another should cease. Fifty nine months to go and as the Foreign Minister quoted the late in Ervin Knowles former MP for Cats Island who said sometimes you just have to bite iron.
