Sir Michael To Hold On For Three Months
Sir Michael Barnett was sworn in as Acting President of the Court of Appeal on Friday 29 December. He is to act for three months while Sir Hartman Longley, the substantive holder of the job tidies up some matters in the transition from Chief Justice to President of the Court of Appeal. Sir Michael turned down the substantive job much to the chagrin of the FNM’s Leader Hubert Minnis.
