Peter Turnquest Turns Out To Be Dullard

Politicians are always in the pubic spotlight and they end up saying some unfortunate things no matter how practiced. However, there are some who are just bloody minded and act to type no matter how long they have been in the game. One of them is Peter Turnquest, the Deputy Prime Minister, whose arrogance, knows no bounds.  He is always the smartest man in the room.  Last week, he delivered two doozies that we thought of note.  He told folks protesting the levy which the FNM proposes to add to the Electricity Bills to pay for the rate reduction bond they are negotiating to settle the Bahamas Power and Light Bills: either you pay the levy or you pay higher taxes. Really now!  Then the headline in the Freeport News on Friday 15 November 219 that was doing the rounds.  He told his constituents in Grand Bahama in answer to pleas for help to turn to God.  Really.
