Omar Davis Gets More Support From The Sunshine Group

Congratulations to the Sunshine Group and especially to Omar Davis, the 16 year older, who is headed to school at Central State University in Ohio as a public scholar.  Mr. Davis who is from Kemp Road moved the nation with his address on 22 June as he was presented with his four year award.  He told the story of his growing up in the home of a drug dealer and watching his father die in front of him; a life of the door being bashed down and questioned by the police.  But he determined that he would make something of himself.  The Sunshine Group was moved by the story and added 3000 dollars per year for the next four years to help him with any shortfall.  Wonderful. The presentation was made on 5 July.
