New Providence Is Pot Hole Heaven

On Friday night on television news Desmond Bannister, who is the FNM’s main Minster of excuses, blamed the PLP for the state of the roads.  That’s is simply untrue.  Under the PLP you certainly did not have to run the gauntlet of potholes that you do now.  The proof clearly is not in his favour. The potholes in these roads today are because the FNM when they came to power stopped the Bahamix Company from paving the road.  All the roads in Fox Hill were stopped for example and left unpaved.   The usual stop review and cancel.  What we see here then is neglect by the FNM over eight months in office and public corporations cutting up the road and refusing to restore it.  No one will make them. It’s the FNM’s fault.
