As the principal of St Anne’s High School she served the Bahamian community as an educator and civic leader.  She was a native of the United States but once she joined her husband in Nassau, she took to The Bahamas like a fish to water.  She died on Tuesday 17^th May.  She was 95 at the time of her death.
