Group photograph of the esteemed Foreign Service Officers within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs who are functioning as Resource Officers for the upcoming Model United Nations (MUN) Session 2016 which is scheduled for Friday April 15, 2016 at the College of The Bahamas. The Ministry has been a collaborative partner with the Rotary Clubs of The Bahamas for the MUN for several years. MUN serves to simulate the work of the United Nations and this year will bring together a number of high schools from within The Bahamas to discuss timely topics from the perspective of each member-country being represented. The goal of MUN is to challenge students to showcase accurately the policies, ideals and culture of the countries they are representing and, thereby, contribute to their personal development as citizens of the world and their becoming informed and engaged citizens to contribute to national development.
