THREE BLIND MICE: this is the picture of the Ambassador to CARICOM Rueben Rahming MP, Minister of Foreign Affairs Darren Henfield and Prime Minister Hubert Ingraham of The Bahamas at the start of the CARICOM heads of Government meeting in St Lucia. The Prime Minister of St Lucia now takes the chair from the Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis. The thought occurred to us that these folks have no clue what they are doing down there as witnessed by their bumbling foreign policy initiatives. In fact, their policy is whatever the United States says to do. The Ambassador, the Prime Minister and one of the public servants Eugene Torchon Newry from The Bahamas are wearing the signature FNM red ties. Can’t take them anywhere. The travel budget about which they made so much noise under the PLP is three times the size of the PLP’s in the tens of millions. Never mind, it’s the people’s time after all.
