Minnis A Fool Says Chamber President

Gowan Bowe, the Chamber of Commerce’s president spoke to Tribune business last week in response to the arguments of Dr Hubert Minnis, the Leader of the Opposition.  The Opposition Leader announced a raft of changes and exemptions to the Value Added Tax, as he panders to voters.  The problem is while it sounds good, the way the tax is designed his plan actually hurts the poor more than it helps.  So Gowan Bowe went to the press and said it was a fool’s argument.  So tell us this, if it’s a fool’s argument being put by Dr Minnis, what does that make Dr. Minnis?  You whistle we will point.
