Loretta Sends Out SOS For Her Son

During the past week as the rest of the country was preparing for the onslaught of Hurricane Irma, a parent who happens also to be a public figure was engaged in frightening drama.  Her son went missing, after leaving a frightening message on his Facebook page.  The message went out to all, if you saw the young man, please contact us the parents. No doubt it is a special nightmare and hell for any parent.  It turned out shortly after the message went out that the police found the young man and for now all is well.  It is one of these moments where despite the nastiness of politics, there are some lines that should not be crossed and we wish them well. The parent was Loretta Butler Turner, former Long Island MP and former Leader of the Opposition. She and her husband Ed have found their son Ted. All well that ends well.
