News LABOUR DAY PARADE IN PICTURES IN FREEPORT | 1 June 2018 The PLP honoured Dennis “ Preacher” Hall for his work as a pioneering taxi driver in Freeport. His former representative Obie Wilchcombe helped to organize the observances. The Trade Union Movement honoured James Kemp, a former head of the Taxi Union. The PLP outnumbered the FNM on the parade. Peter Turnquest tried to put a brave face on it by saying the Prime Minister asked that no one wear colours. He forgot to tell Frederick McAlpine one of their MPs for Freeport who came fully regaled in red, the colour of the FNM. Enjoy the photos.
