KWASI THOMPSON LIVING IN A DREAM WORLD
The Tribune headline in the Business Section on Friday 8 October 2021 was startling and inaccurate. According to the former Minister of State for Finance Kwasi Thompson, the Free National Movement administration left in place sound investment and plans for the PLP to build upon. He is living in a dream world. The same day it was revealed by Moody’s that The Bahamas would have to pay some 3 billion or more in principal payments to lenders by 2026 and the FNM had no clear plan how to deal with this and no fresh money coming in. So clearly something does not add up. Kwasi Thompson and the FNM are living in a dream world.
