viagra buy viagra times;”>The Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago Kamla Persad Bissessar announced yesterday that general elections will be held in Trinidad on 7th September. The elections are expected to be a rough contest, pitting the Afro Trinidadian Leader of the Opposition Keith Rowley against the Indo Trinidadian Bissessar. The politics of Trinidad is fractured on racial lines with the governing party being mainly Indian. Guyana had elections on similar lines but the Afro based party won after 23 years. Mrs. Bissessar has been beset by a series of scandals in her administration. The latest is dealing with fallout from Jack Warner her former Minister in her government and now an Independent MP who has been charged in a sting operation by the Americans for his work as an executive of FIFA the governing board of football worldwide. Mrs. Bissessar says she took no money from him but Mr. Warner revealed large cheques rewritten to advertisers to pay for the promotional material of the governing party.
