Jeanne Thompson Does It Again

The Bahamas’ favourite curmudgeon Jeanne Thomson, the retired Judge was at it again this past week. She joined the chorus of the objectors on the buying of a car for the Office of the Prime Minister.  She ties it to a book she read called Black Mischief.  Interesting title.  The way it comes off is that Black people and their leaders cannot help themselves but to be crooked and corrupt. Jeanne Thompson ought to be ashamed of herself for advancing that theory. Corruption has nothing to do with being black.  Neither does governance.  People of all stripes have been corrupt. Makes no difference if they are black or white. Please Jeanne go back to knitting.
