Jamaal Rolle’s Remembrance Of U S Senator John McCain

The United States Senator John McCain who died last week at 81 was treated to a portrait by the Bahamian artist Jamaal Rolle.  He posted this remembrance of the meeting and presentation on his Facebook page.  Senator McCain was eulogized in Washington D C on 1 September 2018:

Jamaal Rolle wrote on  his Facebook page on 25 August 2018: After successfully completing a commissioned portrait for senator John McCain and his wife Cindy in 2014, Senator McCain invited me to his office on Capitol Hill Washington DC, where we discussed various topics highlighting the importance of art and interconnection. This experience was enlightening and definitely a highlight in my career.
