The sad news is that Brian Moree is to become Chief Justice.  We oppose this appointment. It is bad choice.  This is another example of the FNM using its authority to put people who are FNM on the court.  We explained before that he should not for so many reasons to be appointed to this position. One of them is his leading a disingenuous and dishonest campaign against The Bahamas signing on to the CSME. That in our view sealed his fate forever as someone who was not fit for public office.
