Guy Fawkes Day

Guy Fawkes Night in Mather Town in Grand Bahama back in 2006.  It is not so much practiced these days but 5th November is the anniversary of the plot to blow up the British Parliament by Guy Fawkes, he was discovered and executed.  In remembrance of the event bonfires are lit across the UK and the practice spread to the colonies.  Some continue the practice in The Bahamas to this day.
