EXAMPLE OF GUARDIAN’S BIAS

The photo shows exactly what we are talking about when we say The Nassau Guardian does not come to equity with clean hands when it talks about the PLP.  The Managing Editor Candia Dames has a nephew and a brother who are FNM Parliamentarians.  Her brother Marvin Dames is the nation’s chief crime fighter and can do no wrong.  The two Mr. Dames and the nephew Shannondon Cartwright are pictured juxtaposed in the top left hand corner of The Guardian’s page on 17 January edition.  The Nassau Guardian did not report or show anything about the PLP’s rally on the same day as the Parliamentary service.
