DUANE SANDS COULD USE A DUNCE CAP
From The Office of The Chairman of The PLP
Responding To Remark of Dr. Duane Sands
For Immediate Release
5 April 2018
This evening it is reported that the Minister of Health Dr. Duane Sands in his zeal to “out-Minnis” Minnis in trash talking, told the Leader of the Opposition Philip Davis that he must shut his mouth.
The Minister was annoyed because the Leader of the Opposition was expressing concern about the clinics in his constituency of Cat Island, Rum Cay and San Salvador.
So imagine now this is what we have come to with this incompetent, bumbling Government and its hapless, hopeless Minister of Health.
The Minister can’t keep the hospital supplied with medicine. The Minister can’t keep the nurses on the job. The Minister can’t find beds to put sick patents in. But the Minister can find time to make nasty comments and trash talk on TV.
Clearly he has been hanging around Prime Minister Minnis too much. The Prime Minister is not a good example on language and its appropriate use.
Some friendly advice to the Minister, you don’t want to go down the road of trash talking and foul language with us in the PLP. If you enter that road, you enter dangerous territory.
If however, you are willing to play that game go right ahead. We will see.
Be warned.
End.
