Dame Marguerite Off To London

This photo was available across the many social media platforms as Dame Marguerite Pindling on 4 June 2019.  It is a photo of the now Governor General Dame Marguerite Pindling arriving at the Royal Bahamas Defence Force Ball.  She is resplendent and reminded everyone why she has been excellent in that role as Governor General for the last four years.  On Saturday 7 June, she landed in London to say a formal farewell to the Queen and then she leaves office on 27 June 2019 to be succeeded by C.A. Smith, the former Minister of National Security under the Ingraham government.
