CLAY SWEETING STANDS UP FOR THE FISHERMEN

Senator Clay Sweeting gave his maiden speech to the Senate on 26 June. He praised the last PLP Government for the work it did in defending the fishing interests in the country and hoped that the FNM would seek to continue where the PLP left off.  He recalled the work which he did at BAIC for the development of industry in The Bahamas during the years the PLP was in power.
