Carl Bethel Withdraws The Allegation Against Fred Mitchell

On 12 November 2020, the Leader for the Government in the Senate Carl Bethel alleged that Senator Fred Mitchell broke the quarantine laws. Senator Mitchell demanded a withdrawal which was refused. Senator Mitchell revisited the matter at the last sitting of the Senate on Monday 15 November and Senator Bethel withdrew the allegation.
