Brent Symonette Causes A Security Scare At The Airport

Bahamas press reports that the smart ass rich boy Brent Symonette, the Minister for Immigration, ordered Immigration officers to do something which they perceived as interfering with their jobs. He was in the line at immigration arrivals hall and refused to be taken off to be expedited through.  He was checking to see how long Bahamians were being taken to be processed. He became annoyed reportedly at the pace and ordered the officers to stop scanning passports and just stamp people in.  They did that.  Problem is that the manifests have to be reconciled by Immigration with those they land. The list that the airline gives must match up with the people they land.  That is the rule.  That is a security aspect of immigration work.  The Minister should explain: true or false.
