BARBADOS IS TO BECOME A REPUBLIC
Dame Sandra Mason, the first President of Barbados
On 30th November 2021 which is independence day in Barbados, Mia Mottley, the Prime Minister of Barbados, will have delivered another milestone for her country. She will have gotten rid of this nonsense of the Queen being the Head of State of Barbados even after independence. The Barbadian Parliament elected Dame Sandra Mason, the now Governor General as the country’s first President. The governmental form will not change, literally all that will happen is Governor General will be replaced by President. But this is great stuff. Prime Minister Philip Davis is expected to attend as is Prince Charles , the heir to the British throne and heir to being head of the commonwealth. Congratulations.
