BIMINI BAY TOLD TO REMOVE THE FENCE

There is tension in Bimini between the Hilton and the Resorts World Casino on North Bimini with the residential community of condo owners on the one side and the local community.  The resort and the residents of the condos have been trying for years to block the access to the beach for locals.  This is against the law since the beach below the high watermark is public property.  Last week they were at it again and went blocking the beach with a fence.  Within days, they were ordered by the police to take it down.
