THE CENTRAL BANK NOT DOING ITS JOB: RBC
Last week the Royal Bank of Canada was at it again in The Bahamas. They announced a temporary pause in some services for their customers which seemed designed once again to stop face to face contact with human beings in the bank. The Central Bank said nothing in response to this. They are the regulator and the closest we have got to a watchman over the conduct of the banks. They do nothing and have done nothing since the deterioration of services began in this country under the pretext of digitalization. We again call for a proper watchdog for the interest of consumers as the banks make rapacious profits and provide poor services in return.
