PREPARING FOR A FOURTH WAVE
Minister of Health Michael Darville is trying to be proactive when it comes to the covid 19 virus. The death and destruction wrought in The Bahamas continues albeit at a slower pace. However, with the population reaching the point where they have stopped going to get the vaccine and with schools opening face to face next year, the problems can spike again. So he is searching around for a 50 bed field hospital. And he needs to get almost a hundred nurses and doctors from overseas. The country has lost 47 nurses to the United States since September. The country has to move to a new phase now where we actually go into communities and plead with them to get the vaccine. Problem is you have too many sensible and intelligent people resisting what is obvious with regard to the vaccine.
