The present Director of Immigration wrote the following in his What’s App Chat:
“It was my absolute pleasure to celebrate today, with my Hard Working, Dedicated Staff of the Immigration Department – who lent their support and initiative in making Our “80th Anniversary Exhibition” currently being showcased at the Food Court; Mall at Marathon, New Providence a smashing success. I especially thank the likes of Former Directors Allan Strachan and Vernon Burrows, Former Minister Neville Wisdom, Consumer Affairs Officer Lavade Darling, Permanent Secretary Mrs. Cora Colebrooke and all those who joined us over this week – for lending us your full support. We invite the General Public to come out over the next (2) two days as we practice leaving the four walls and interacting with the Public; we are so privileged to serve. This is our effort at bringing our services to those who matter most in our communities, where we serve. Thank you for the opportunity to serve you! We likewise invite (12th) Grade Graduates to come out and collect your PSC Form (7)., as we seek to employ (60) sixty New Immigration Recruits! Hoorahhhhhhhhhh….”
