THE SIDNEY POITIER 90th BIRTHDAY TRIBUTE
Editor’s Note: The Bahamas government paid tribute to Sir Sidney Poitier, the Bahamian actor, producer, director and author, on the occasion of his 90th birthday. It took the form of a concert at the Bahamar Convention Centre on 12 February. The programme was live to tape and played on ZNS TV on 20th February, his actual birthday. The photos are from the event.
